UNSPOKEN WORDS

It’s been a  month since I saw you, 

I don’t know what to say nor what to do, 

It’s like seeing you  for the first time, 

Thy heart beats fast. 

You wore my favorite color, blue 

You smile so bright and oh! So true 

You don’t know how happy I am that day 

How ironic though it’s your birthday. 

I love it when we are together,

Hoping that it’ll really last forever,

But time is running so fast,

I don’t want to leave I just want to make it last. 

When I step out of that place, 

I knew it’ll take time again to see your face,

Knowing that you’re leaving in a matter of weeks,

A year of missing and not hearing you speak. 

It broke my heart on the day you left,

I was so sad a person clearly bereft,

I have to cover my sadness with a smile

Now all I need is just to wait for awhile, 

God is doing things for a reason,

I don’t care if I would wait for a season,

My love I don’t know what lies ahead,

But always remember everything that I said. 

A sacrifice that I have to make,

Coz I’m loving a seafarer and I’m willing to take,

Even though you’re a nautical miles away,

My love for you will always and forever here to stay.
